Voiceover done? The marketing has only just started

A real Argentine voice: voseo, the “sh” sound and the rhythm

Rioplatense Spanish is the accent that no neutral voice can fake. The “ll” and “y” become a soft “sh”, the stress patterns of voseo change the verb, and the melody borrowed from Italian rises and falls where other accents stay flat. An Argentine or Uruguayan audience hears an imitation in one sentence, which is why this page will only ship a voice built from Rioplatense speakers.

01

What the voice brings, and where it stands

The Argentine voice is being built from open-licensed Rioplatense recordings and is still in listening tests. Until it passes, this page lists every Spanish voice we have so you can still generate — the Castilian voices read voseo grammatically but with the wrong melody, which is fine for a draft and wrong for publishing. When the Rioplatense voice goes live it will appear at the top of the wall on this page automatically.

02

Writing in Rioplatense

Use “vos” and its conjugations: “vos tenés”, “mirá”, “fijate”, “vení”. “Ustedes” for the plural. Everyday words: “colectivo”, “remera”, “laburo”, “che” as an opener when the tone is casual. Keep the exclamation marks — Argentine speech uses them — but keep sentences short so the voice can land the rise at the end. Lunfardo is welcome in Reels and podcasts and out of place in a bank's notice.

03

Who it is for

Creators and brands in Argentina and Uruguay, podcasts with a local host tone, Reels and TikTok hooks that need attitude rather than polish. Also useful for Latin American brands that run per-country creative: the same script in Mexican, Colombian and Rioplatense voices, three exports, three ad sets. For Chile and Paraguay the accent reads as neighbourly rather than foreign; for Spain or Mexico use their own pages.

04

Format and licence

600 characters per generation, as many generations as you like. Reference recordings come from CC0 and CC BY licensed sources; every voice is a pseudonym and implies no endorsement by the original speaker.
