Which platforms can I check?

You can check Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Telegram, Pinterest, Reddit and Threads. Enter a name once to see the results for each platform.

What should I enter?

Enter the username you want to use, without a profile URL. Display names may differ from usernames. If a platform does not accept your chosen name, the result is unavailable and you can try a different name.

What do the results mean?

Unavailable means an account with the same name was found, or the platform does not accept that name. Try this name means no account with that name was found and you can try registering it. Check unsuccessful means we could not get a result just now. The summary shows how many platforms are in each group.

Does try this name guarantee I can register it?

Not always. A platform may keep a name even when you cannot find an account using it. Try registering it on the platform; its sign-up page will tell you whether you can use it.

Why can a check fail?

Sometimes we cannot get a result from a platform right away. Try again later, or select See on platform to take a look yourself. A failed check does not tell you whether the name is available.

Why might I see an earlier result, and how often can I check?

To avoid repeated checks, the tool may use a result from the last 24 hours. Unsuccessful results are kept for one minute. The usual limit is 6 checks per minute and 30 per day for people sharing the same internet connection. Open More details to see when the name was last checked.

Have the suggested names been checked?
