How the score works
The method is public; the collection process is not.

Exposure is counted from the day monitoring starts (7 days this issue); other metrics use a 90-day window. Exposure and followers are log-scaled, rate metrics are winsorized at the 5th–95th percentile, and everything is normalized within the industry. Viral = a post with exposure ≥ 3× the account's 90-day median. Accounts with fewer than 10 posts get the industry 25th percentile for rate metrics.
Score = Σ(weight × normalized value) × 100. Exposure and followers are log-scaled before normalization; engagement rate and viral share are winsorized at the 5th–95th percentile; active weeks are linear over 13 weeks. Everything is normalized within the industry, so scores are only comparable within it. Cross-platform totals merge raw quantities first and then compute metrics; platform scores are never averaged. Accounts with fewer than 10 posts in 90 days get the industry 25th percentile for rate metrics. Viral = a post whose exposure is ≥ 3× the account's 90-day median.
Exposure can only be collected from the day a brand joins monitoring, so the first issue covers 7 days while followers, posts, likes and comments use a 90-day window. The exposure window lengthens month by month until it reaches 90 days; until then, exposure figures are not directly comparable across issues.
Published on the last day of each month with data through that day; past issues stay archived.
