The replacement person must have consented to appear. Uploads of public figures or third parties without permission are rejected.
Best with a front-facing, well-lit face and moderate movement. Fast spins, hands covering the face and extreme close-ups reduce stability.
Body shape and clothing stay from the original take. This changes the face and head, not the wardrobe.
This is not a digital-avatar generator. It edits footage you already have; it does not create new performances from text.

What is AI character replacement in video?

It replaces the person on camera in an existing recording with a different presenter while keeping the original speech, movement and camera work. Nothing is re-recorded.

Is this the same as a deepfake or face-swap app?

The technique is related, but the use is restricted: the replacement must be a consenting presenter or a persona you own, and the output is meant for your own accounts. Impersonating real people is not permitted.

Can I run several accounts with different presenters from one video?

Yes. That is the main use case. Record once, generate one version per persona and schedule each to its own account.

Does the language or voice change?

No. Character replacement keeps the original audio. If you also need a new language, use presenter swap instead.

What kind of source video works best?
