Three steps to a voiceover, then turn it into business

Step one · Three steps in this tool
1

Filter by feel, not just gender

Upbeat for short-form, warm for brand videos, narration for long reads. The tags on each card say which is which.

2

Preview with your line

Two voices can share a tag and still land differently. Paste your real opening sentence and compare.

3

Generate and download

Seconds later you have the WAV. Keep the voice for the whole series once you've chosen.

Choosing a female AI voice that fits the job

“Female voice” is a filter, not a decision. Among the female voices here, the useful differences are energy, warmth and accent — the things that decide whether a listener trusts a product explainer or keeps watching a Reel. This page removes the male voices so you can compare the rest properly.

01

Energy: upbeat vs warm vs narration

Heart (American) is the upbeat, fast read that carries product clips and list videos. Emma (British) is warm and steady: explainers, brand stories, audiobooks. Dora (Castilian Spanish) is a neutral read that works for corporate and educational video, and her Brazilian namesake covers Portuguese; 思琪 and 雨桐 are the clear Mandarin reads, with 晓晴 and 若彤 for a regional colour. The tag on each card is a starting point; the preview button with your own sentence is the decision.

02

Accent is a targeting choice

A British female voice on a US-facing ad reads as premium; the same voice on a US-facing tutorial reads as distant. American for broad English audiences, British for luxury, education and anything that trades on understatement. In Spanish, Castilian is what we have today; Latin American accents are in production. Match the accent to where the viewers are, not to where you are.

03

Making it sound less synthetic

Female voices in TTS are most often criticised for sounding “too smooth”. The cure is in the text: shorter sentences, a comma where a real speaker would breathe, numbers spelled out, and no more than two exclamation marks per script. Let the voice slow down on the key line by giving it a full stop before and after. Generate, listen, adjust one sentence, regenerate — the loop takes seconds and costs nothing.

04

Rights and reuse

All female voices here are pseudonyms built from openly licensed recordings; none implies endorsement by a real person.

Female AI voice FAQ

Straight answers before you hit generate

How many female voices are there?
Twenty-five today: fifteen English (American and British), four Chinese, plus Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and Hindi voices. Latin American Spanish voices are in preparation.
Can I make the voice younger or older?
Not with a slider — pick a voice tagged youthful (Heart, Sky) or warm/narration (Emma, Sarah). The kid-voice page lists the youngest-sounding presets.
Is the voice a real woman?
Each voice is built from a real, openly licensed recording under a pseudonym. It is not a specific public person and cannot be used to impersonate one.
Can I use it in a commercial?
Yes. Keep the Kokoro credit if you redistribute the audio file itself.
